Google Millennials + Marketing and you’ll pull up more infographics and reports than you know what to do with. The focus on this demographic borders on obsession at times. It is notable that the majority of these reports and resulting articles insist upon looking at this group through the aggregate lens of statistics and analytics. This is counterintuitive since part of the obsession stems from the realization that this is a radically different generation, paradigm-shifting if you will. Big Data is only as strong as the story it tells and how can you possibly tell a story that you don’t understand.
